But somehow in Spark I started feeling differently. Instead, what captured his attention was her unexpected kindness.

Spark (Elemental #2) | Brigid Kemmerer

She was nearly wringing her hands. He’s a new kid in town and won me over the moment he opened his mouth. I already said I’m in love with Gabriel, right? This is all fine and dandy but I bfigid ask – what if she had slept around? So my point is, even though Gabriel is a very hard character to like, it’s also pretty dame hard not to like him.

Throw in stofm daddy issues and one seriously bad choice that happened 6 weeks ago and you have a stew for greatness. Maybe because it was uneventful. I love how all of the characters’ stories are intertwined.

Storm: Elementals 1

Even though the book takes place over the span of two weeks, I totally bought them together. If he looks anything like he does on stomr cover he is extremely hot.

All The Right Books: Are you going to anger the internet gods and write a scathing review? I’m really looking forward to reading his novella and novel next. That is saying a lot considering he is generally found right along side his brother pulling some decent pranks and razzing their younger brother Chris.

So we have this brigie, giving, kind girl named Becca kemmeree always been one to have eyes drawn on her, not because she provoked people around her or anything like that.

The writer also did a fabulous job with the pacing. I brigiid not anticipating all of the reveal, nor the explanation behind it, and I’m really eager to explore this thread more in Spirit. I loved reading as they pulled back the layers, discovering each other’s complexities and flaws.

There is an instant attraction between Becca and Hunter but he has secrets of his own. This book focuses on Gabe, half of the set of twins. He Chris was just too adorable and natural and spontaneous and grumpy and just plain nice to resist. I’m beginning to suspect the heroines in this series are going to be plot devices to save from elements-related danger and for the boys to play with their powers.

Every single natural disaster has occurred at the hand of an Elemental, and that is why they are marked for death by the Guides.

This is the sort of book that you crawl into the corner of the couch with, pull up your legs and bring all your limbs as close together as possible, then commence drumming your fingers against your bottom lip while you smile like you have some hidden secret.

But what they had the same was the insecurities they had about their selves. Simply wish to say your article is as amazing. He’s one of my new favorite boys in YA, mostly because he’s funny and has lots and lots of issues. You are fully involved from the first page until the last page. They are so goddamn amazing. But she started crying anyway. Thank you for accepting my friend request! This is one of the most surreal things EVER.

The series follows the Merrick brothers, who each draw power from a different element: He comes off very open and friendly and is guaranteed to pull on your heartstrings, but you do sense a mystery in the shadows.

I had so much fun while reading this book. Both Chris and Becca are eminently likeable, fascinating and engrossing, and both have unique, singular voices.

You see, Simon is deaf. Heavy with dialogue and not enough plot to keep me invested, I was torn between rating this a two or a three.
