If you have heard some of this before, but only as conjecture, then The Covenant will make it factual by providing the statistical evidence. Strong start to opening eyes to issues in America. Great novel with geniune ideas.
It’s edited by Tavis Smiley and written in a very accessible style while including input from some of tavid most distinguished leaders and thinkers in the African American community. Despite what you’ve heard, not all truths are self-evident The sobering statistics regarding familiar issues healthcare, incarceration, college graduates and not so familiar issues digital divide, plight of rur This was a very easy read.

Trivia About Covenant with Bla Sep 26, SunnyD rated it did not like it Shelves: Race in my world view is a mushy attribute – more of a continuum between black and white and anything else disturbingly harkens back to the “one-drop rule”. This is definitely a great sociology book, especially if you’re looking to do some research on Black America.
