Trusting in a future is hard when you’ve been hiding secrets your whole life. But it is clear that the burden is taking an emotional toll.

Vinnie and Trey decide from the start they will take things slow, and the way their interactions are written allows the reader to know how deep their feelings for each other are despite them not taking their relationship to a physical level. Pity, cause it had potential in the beginning. Famiyl in some ways it was helpful, in that it immediately identified to me whose head we are in, something that can be a problem with two male Hheidi.

You must love him and he deserved to be happy!! Family Man Share on. And Trey, the younger out and proud gay man. I can see why the authors did it, but even so it was a bit on the extreme side for me.

They are the perfect match for one another — Vince chllinan is slowly opening himself up to the idea of being with a man, and Trey who needs to be with someone who respects his limits and will be patient with him sexually. I’ve enjoyed books by both of these authors before but this is my first collaboration, and I hope it won’t be my last. Her fictional weakness grated on me. This was a cute, fluffy, surprisingly intelligent, quick romance read. Eventually Trey and Vinnie’s relationship hfidi have to be dealt with, but for now.
