Erinor was definitely icfmark favorite of The Antagonists Three. Mar 25, Eric Bertone rated it it was amazing. Oskan and Thirrin thought their bad-seed daughter was gone for good–burnt to a cinder and cast out onto the Spirit Plain. I think that Stuart Hill wrote this one in a hurry as if he just wanted to finish the series. And I don’t just mean that I didn’t like them as people.

I didn’t like Thirrin aging alone without her one true love physically by her side. One element that delighted me right away was the number of scenes from Kirimin’s point of view. Is this the last book? It was always just some variation of: It made sense that he should be sent away; at that point in the story, he was in need of the most protecting.

Erinor’s dinosaur cavalry move in on what remains of the Polypontian Empire, fully intending to move on to the Icemark afterward and to murder anyone that has a bloodline containing that icemarkk the northern Hypolitan. More importantly it is pacey, with likable and interesting characters and does not talk down to its readership. The most complex book of the three, and a great conclusion to a great series.
